Mengying Tao, Project Leader in Berlin, specializing in China’s technology policy and market developments, with a focus on artificial intelligence and data. She advises multinational companies on AI and data strategy, as well as regulatory compliance in the Chinese context. Prior to joining Sinolytics, she was an advisor at GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit), where she worked on projects addressing technical barriers to trade and electric mobility. She holds an M.A. in International Journalism and Communication from Beijing Foreign Studies University and an M.A. in East Asian Economy & Society from the University of Vienna.
